The tendency to search for, interpret, and remember information that confirms your existing beliefs while ignoring contradictory evidence. It's like wearing blinders that filter out anything that challenges your view. Example: You're bullish on Tesla. You read 10 bullish articles and ignore 10 bearish ones. The stock drops 20% and you're surprised - but the warning signs were there, you just didn't see them.
